Chasing Silver
Based on the RI PBS documentary Chasing Silver, T-Time President Theresa Moore collaborated with PBS on the creation of high school-level curricula resources focused on the environmental legacy of the Gorham Silver factory and its impact on the Mashapaug Pond and the surrounding land and communities.

1st RI Regiment Memorial at Patriots Park
A classroom curricula experience focused on the use of primary source documents, this project explores and highlights the inspiring, but little known, history of the integrated 1st Rhode Island Regiment in the American Revolution. Free and previously-enslaved Blacks, as well as local indigenous men, fought to defend a country that placed little to no value on their lives. The curricula shares and elevates their voices and perspectives as participants in a war for the freedom and self-determination which eluded them and their peoples and also helps to define the meaning of the word “patriot.”
